Much like the audio cassette tape, the Minidisc is an excellent format for limited edition runs to complement a music release and create a point of interest for music lovers.
A Cute and Tactile Format
Minidiscs are not a dead format and there is still a market for collectors and music fans alike. MiniDisc production taps into the nostalgia and novelty of providing new music in an older format.
The second-hand Minidisc player market has had a serious uptick in 2023, with bandcamp artists releasing albums and EPs on MiniDisc in every genre.

NB: Although we hold some components in stock, production lead times may vary depending on quantity. We’ll always make sure you’re aware of the expected lead time at the point of quotation.
H2: MiniDisc Print
We offer print directly onto the front, back and spine of the MiniDisc, providing free template downloads to support design.
We print across the entire front ‘face’ of the Mini-Disc, including the sliding clip, so there is plenty of room for artwork.
On the reverse of the MiniDisc, we print on the half without the clip. This rectangular space is generally used for a track listing or branding.
Finally, we print on the lower spine of the MiniDisc. This narrow space is generally used for a title or the artist’s name.
Hard Shell Frosted Sleeve
This is our secondary option, which uses the hard-shell frosted sleeve that the MiniDisc comes with at the point of manufacture. The MiniDisc slots into the sleeve perfectly, and the sleeve can support a small ‘J-Card’ as pictured.
We supply this option with a choice of outer packaging, including:
